The ITFA is pleased to announce that the details for the first of two ITFA International Instructor Courses for 2015 have been released!
The April IIC will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th at the Merrilie Robertson Hall, Ascham School, Edgecliff, Sydney, NSW 2029. The course, like all ITFA events, is open to all Taekwon-Do Practitioners regardless of affiliation. This means that Practitioners that are not affiliated with the ITFA are invited to attend and access the teaching of one of the World’s most knowledgeable Masters, Master Andrew K H Rhee.
Master Rhee is a former assistant to the Founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi. He is also the eldest son of Taekwon-Do Pioneer, First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha (FGMR) who is also the Patron of the ITFA. His lineage is unrivalled, and as such, the quality of his teaching and his knowledge base is unsurpassed world-wide.
The IIC will run over two days, concluding with the ITFA Black Belt Grading where eligible candidates will undergo their examination. All course participants are invited to support this event, if their schedule allows.
On the Saturday night, there will be an event dinner. This is a formal Taekwon-Do event which means Taekwon-Do etiquette is observed. Dress is smart casual which means collared shirt and tie for the gents and smart dress for the ladies (i.e. jeans and trainers are not acceptable). This dinner is an opportunity for course participants to specialise and get to know each other better outside the training environment.
